Simone and the team at Events 1st not only produce high-profile events but are also committed to starting conversations with purpose and delivering a positive legacy.
We asked Simone about her journey and how she is empowering the North of England through significant events.
Q. What type of events do you organise?
Events 1st work in partnership with a range of clients to create, curate and deliver events of all sizes. We develop bespoke and tailored strategies for each event through our partnering and promote the client’s core values and amplify measurable success.
Q. Why does your company choose to work with MSP?
MSP is an exceptional partner, fantastic to deal with and the quality of their work is exceptional. Q. What’s the best tip for getting the right equipment for your events?
Working with seasoned professionals that have experience and expertise.
They’ll work to your budget and make things happen, without unexpected costs. You need a tight team of people that work together and are specialists in their fields. Expertise is vitally important.
Q. How did we help your event stand out from the crowd?
At one of our larger events with over 800 attendees, MSP delivered a tailored LED Video Wall that creatively projected graphics and images of all award winners on a large scale. The wall really added to the impact, messaging and amplified the atmosphere.
Q. What advice do you have for those wanting to make a Difference through events?
You can’t put a price on the value, expertise and knowledge of partnering with a company such as MSP. No matter what pressured situation you are in, MSP seem to have an innate ability to problem solve any situation.

Simone Roche MBE, founded Events 1st five years ago out of a passion to deliver, create and curate exceptional quality events.
Simone has been executing events with military precision having started her career in the Royal Navy organizing NATO conferences across the globe and later working at many impressive hospitality and tourism organisations including Aintree Racecourse, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, People 1st, ACC Liverpool and London 2012 Olympics.
In 2015, Events 1st launched the Northern Power Women (NPW) campaign in Liverpool with a conference for over 300 influencers, politicians and change-makers. The aim to accelerate gender equality from the North of England by recognising, celebrating and showcasing role models. Building on the success of the campaign, the NPW annual awards was formed, which profiles winners not only during the gala event, but continuously throughout the year.
